[my life in pictures]

This time last week, I celebrated my birthday with my family at this charming, little, Tuscan/Mediterranean restaurant called Marcia Adams. We were lucky enough to score the sunset patio which afforded us a pretty sweet view of the day’s sunset.

The food was pretty amazing and my mouth waters as I look back on these photos. Pictured above are the: Fried shrimp appetizer, Galician soup, Aegean salad, and my Aromatic Pork Entree w/ Egyptian Rice.

Not posted above were everyone else’s entrees and the ridiculous number of desserts I consumed (this amazing Panna Cotta in a refreshing mint sauce, my Costa Brava birthday caramel cake, Guava chips with Ice Cream and my sister’s uneaten Honeyed Orange with Ice Cream).

Needless to say, my 5km exercise run the next day was a little heavier harder than usual.

some [pretty effing awesome] friends threw me, ed and fel a surprise birthday party. yay for october babies! it was a ridiculously fun night. i don’t think i’ve ever laughed that hard over scattergories, reality tv gummy bears (complete w/ alcohol & a “hot tub”) and a pornstached dictator. definitely one for the books.
